After being on hiatus for a year as Dissident Cigars changed ownership, the brand’s annual limited edition, HOME, is returning to store shelves.

In keeping with the previous three releases, the blend features a barber pole wrapper made from Ecuadorian maduro and corojo leaves. Underneath those wrappers is an Ecuadorian binder and fillers from Nicaragua. The cigar is being released in a 6 x 52 box-pressed toro vitola that has an MSRP of $14 per cigar and $280 for a box of 20 cigars. Production numbers are not being disclosed.

“With thanks to the previous brand owner, the HOME has always been a highly anticipated release for Dissident fans since 2019, and I’m excited to bring this beloved cigar back after a year hiatus,” said Lynn Coburn in a press release. “It’s a tradition that needs to continue. We made minor changes to the box artwork and big changes to the label artwork that we are truly stoked about! If you feel like you don’t belong, it means you belong with us. Welcome HOME!”

The cigars are being produced by Fabrica Oveja Negra in Estelí, Nicaragua, the factory that is home to Black Label Trading Co. and Black Works Studio. Coburn said that the cigars have arrived at the company’s warehouse and are ready to begin shipping.

The Dissident HOME line debuted in 2015, and had subsequent releases in 2019, 2020 and 2021, all of which were released under previous owners of the brand.
